Let me know what you think.

nice 8ight but y did u cut the bottom of ur battery box like that im just curious?

AP Alex 03.12.2008 07:22 PM

I needed the tray to set lower in the chassis to fit the polyquest 4s 6000 mah battery in without the body sticking up. Everything worked fine except I drew the pattern backwards.

Very clean setup! I like it!

Aside from the clearance issue with the battery, putting the battery holder directly on the chassis will also lower the CG.

Battery tray mod.

I never thought of that solution. I've run into the same clearance issues. Nice job!

supralover72 03.12.2008 08:17 PM

WOW! That's nice man! I especially like your work space, may have to steal that idea from you

satttheman 03.13.2008 06:54 PM

very nice i had never thought of that lower cg and u can fit bigger batteries good idea

jhautz 03.13.2008 07:34 PM

Like the Buggy. What motor r u running?

The work space is killer too. But I think it would make me crazy to have a space that clean.

Are those tiny floor jacks lined up in the background??? Thats too funny.

Here's a complete picture of the work space. I have a mild case of OCD as you can tell. The motor is a 1512 2.5d/f. I went with Mike's suggestion. My son loves the jacks. I picked them up at Northern Tools and Equipment.

Nothing wrong with being tidy- cleanliness is next to goddliness, or something like that I believe.

*young orfan mode* Please sir, can I have some more (pics of that truck, top right in the picture)?

It my E-maxx that keeps evolving. It has a 7XL or 8XL and a BK 9920 running 2-2s 8000 MAh lipos. Fastlane chassis, UE spiders 6 gears, strobe and sprong, JSP rollcage, spurr wheelie bar, RC4WD beadlock rims, RPM arms, etc.... This is the truck that started the madness, and got me hooked-up with Monster Mike.

Is this a garage with wood paneling and CROWN MOULDING?:oh:

AP Alex 03.14.2008 10:18 PM

You are right!!! That just something my contractor added in. It hard board and crown. Only the best will do. That why I roll with RC-Monster.

Awesome, that things a brute. Gotta love the Imex tires, not the gripyest, but they just look so cool.
