Medusa Afterburner V2 BL motors
Hey! Anyone had a gander at these ? I saw a short review posted over at e-savage.com. Looked pretty good! 4 pole design, vented endbell, 60k RPM max. Pretty good price range too.

got a link to the e-savage review?

thank you kind sir
Looks interesting enough. The prices are certainly conducive for some testing. I am tempted to check one out.
and thanks again, I had been looking for an inexpensive 4 pole motor, you just made my day!
Looks good for lower-powered setups that would call for the equivalent of an S or maybe an L size motor. I might try a MR-036-050-4800V2-5 in my crt.5...
I was thinking of the 36/60/2000 for a revo. not in stock at the moment though.
yep, 2000's are at a stock of negative 2. I e-mailed medusa for availability. I read the motor reviews from their site and a t-rex helicopter pilot put quite a few motors through some very extensive scientific type testing(removing as many variables as possible and noting where he wasn;t able to) He found the medusa more powerful than megas or even neus, he stated the medeusa was the most powerful motor he had tested, the neu was more efficient. He tested aligns, neus, megas, aons, and some others I forgot, the guy on e-savage likens the 60mm motor to a neu 1512, looks like some good motors

2-3 weeks till the motors are in

the really crappy part is the 8xl took my 125b with it. Now I'm down to just the bk 9920, and I doubt it will play well with the 4 pole V2 motors. J. |
Do they have anything that could push a 1/8th savage?. They look like good motors though and reasonably priced.
Interesting line up. I would like to see a longer can than 60mm, but given the most suitable version they sell is the 36-60-2000kv which generates 900+watts, it would still be nearlt twice as powerful as my hvmaxx.
The 60mm cans look like good 1/8 buggy motors. I may have to get the 1600kv version and try it out in the hyper8 on 6s and see how it does.

yeah, you prolly need another motor........................................
