very cool... wonder when the ywill have the MMM up on the site. or out...

jnev 04.02.2008 11:51 PM

The site does look good. I am almost sure that this is in preparation for the MMM.

MTBikerTim 04.02.2008 11:51 PM

The page is cool especially since they list the neu motors as well now.

the prices are standard neu prices, we were promised a motor/esc combo for around $300. If the motors cost that much............. well, i'm just getting myself all pissed off now, we'll wait and see.

Those are still the hand wound neu motors. I'm sure they will release a machine wound cheaper version one day. I'm very tempted to just buy a neu motor with my (yes there is one with my name on it) MMM though.

DRIFT_BUGGY 04.03.2008 12:46 AM

Does this mean that anyone that stocks CC can now get in Neu motors?

_paralyzed_ 04.03.2008 12:46 AM

yeah, i was just hoping for a bargain. with r/c i should know better, and with life you get what you pay for

BlackedOutREVO 04.03.2008 01:02 AM

Nice! I love how you can build it!

Do finned, or what ever you want! too cool!

Guys nothing has changed according to what we know. They are still doing their own Neu-knockoff motors.

Now they are also the distributors of the official Neu motors. It is a little odd at first glance, but it's not like they were enemies. Neu and Castle always got along which is why they made the deal to copy Steve's motors.

Neu will continue to be the high-end custom product... there is no way CC could package them with the MMM. That's why CC has their own motor factory in China now. Also, Castle will only have a limited # of motors to choose from unlike the full line that Neu can build. I'm sure Castle will be expanding their line too, but it will take a while.
