help wiring the 9920 controller

ok i have just recived this controlloer and it looks nothing like the picture (dunno if i have been sent wrong one) it has 2 red and 2 black wires for batterys (i assume) the reciver conector and then SIX black wired obvisly 3 of these are for the motor but which 3 and what are the other 3 for

some one please help and basicly tell me how to wire this thing up.

I am assuming the 6 wires are in pairs? Treat each pair as a single wire and you should be fine.
Welcome to the forums, too, Sean.

Yeah, they made all the wires double.. Don't mix the wires, use them in pairs, like they come from the esc.

coolhandcountry 08.31.2005 04:05 PM

Did the double wiring help the controller out?

Serum 08.31.2005 04:09 PM

With what Coolhand?

coolhandcountry 08.31.2005 04:13 PM

ON the controller does it deliver more power. less heat. Just helps out over all and all. If you know what I mean.

a few other questions concerning the BEC and jumpers i have found the red jumper (it was shrink wraped i had to cut some away) but cant find the black jumper to turn of the BEC should it be inthe same place ive had a good look and cant see it

coolhandcountry 09.01.2005 07:36 AM

It is under the shrink to. Back a little farther than the other jumper(red one). Look for the lump that looks like a jumper. Hope this helps.

http://www.serum.demon.nl/BL%20lightning%20PRO/19.JPG here you can see the BEC jumper removed..

What is that around your controller Serum? Some sort of hand-made case? Looks cool...

Serum 09.01.2005 12:23 PM

Yeah, as part of this project

Monkey 09.01.2005 12:27 PM
