nimhs heat reducing

with a mambamax esc would it run nimhs cooler with parrallel or series wiring . thanks

I'm not an expert but I would guess parrallel would reduce temps as ur reducing the voltage. I'm pretty sure it would give you longer runtimes but slower speeds

Power is power, for the same amount of power

Running pack in serie increase voltage available, so it decrease current load
Running pack in parallel increase overall capacity and discharge rate, Current load will higher on the main output, but this load will be shared between each pack.

Once again, remember, the current is the ennemy,
R x IČ,

Summary
Better to run high voltage setup and consequently pack in serie.
Run pack in parallel only when some part of your setup/ driving style does not allow to run HV

Bear in mind over-all voltage too. The MM esc can only run 12~14 cells maximum, so if you have 2x 6 cell packs, and a ~2000kv motor, your only real option is to run the packs in series. You could ofcourse run them in parallel, but you would only get half the speed, if that, but double the runtime...
