In a number of rc car action, they wrote that rc monster had an clutch for elektric cars, but i cant finde it in the shop:diablo:

Shouldn't he make smaller version for the crt.5?

any word when the slipperential will be released?? what type of spur pitch will be on it and how many T?

So it is for real?? I thought it was just a dream that Mike had and only made two or three of them for good friends. So this mysterious sliperential is actually going to be produced and released here on RCM??? That should be a very nice item to have for the MT enthusiests and the hardcore racers with all of the high power electronics being released now. So what's up with this Mike? Any truth to the rumors, or are you just giving us the silent treatment until show time???:lol:

I do agree. It makes complete sense to have the product ready before adding it to the store. Maybe he'll do a pre-order on them when they are close to being done. He can also be testing them to get all the weakness out to make them bullet proof before making them available.

It's possible, but I wouldn't hold my breath. The original slipperential will be able to be used wherever a CD is used in most 8th scale vehicles, but the CRT.5 version will only be for that vehicle. If one is really needed for the CRT.5, I would just find a way to mod the vehicle to use the regular one.

I just figured they would be close since they have been in rc car action april issue.

developing the eighth scale was said to be a pita, so engineering an even smaller one probably isn't feasible

I think Mike is keeping quiet on the release date because he doesnt want to get people's hopes up, incase there are delays and such- think MMM... :whistle:

I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of this. I have a few vehicles that it would be perfect in. I could probablty buy at least 6 of them and find them homes. I think the first will end up in the hyper st.
