They are making a 1515 1Y 2200kv version of the neu...

They are planning on selling pinions too and custom battery trays

They also had a proprietry motor mount for a 777

Here are some pics I swiped...

Nice. So does the MM have a usb port?

lincpimp 04.19.2008 03:05 PM

Thanks for the pics Chris! This is sweet.

I will be buying a few of these combos as I have a few dual tray vehicles and the 2200kv motor is great for 4s. I know that i will not be exploiting the Monster Max to its full potential on 4s, but it should be rock sold.

did you get these pics from rc x?

Arct1k 04.19.2008 03:39 PM

The pics are from RCX... I don't believe it has USB on board I believe it is castlelink...

suicideneil 04.19.2008 04:11 PM

I can live with that, so long as my PC works with it- XP = good ya?... lol.

BlackedOutREVO 04.19.2008 04:30 PM

captain harlock 04.19.2008 04:34 PM

Damn, couldn't they make it a bit smaller. It looks like a C4...well..sort of.

DRIFT_BUGGY 04.19.2008 05:43 PM

I see where they got the name monster from

DRIFT_BUGGY 04.19.2008 05:49 PM

How were the motor wires connected to the esc?

DRIFT_BUGGY 04.19.2008 05:53 PM

I like the idea, but those trays don't look strong enough to handle the stress that racers place on them. I would much prefer a chassis that is the correct width instead of bolt-on dirt guards. Might be heavier, but worth it for the strength IMO.

BTW: Nice pics of the MMM and motor! I like how Castle's motors have the leads coming out the side rather than the rear like a "real" Nue. I assume they are building them like the Mamba Max motors where the motor wires are flexible? Probably a good idea to keep people from breaking the motor wires.
