New E-Maxx 3905-=reliability=-???

I've a great deal on a use (2 packs trought it) 3905 e-maxx and i'am plan to run it with a Neu 1515 2y and 6s lipo.
How is the durability of this truck, what's the most fragile part on it?

What about tranny and diff??

Do i'll have to upgrade drivetrain??

And for the pitch gear, this is 32 or MOD1

If it's 32, can i use revo spur without any modification??

Thank you!

The emaxx2 (3905) is a lot better than the old emaxx in terms of durability.
The drivetrain is very strong and will hold up to a lot of use and abuse.

The gears are module .8 and sad to say you can't put a revo module 1 gear in it. You have to use the spur gear from a monster GT if you still want to go module 1.

I use a 1515/1y/F running on 4S controlled with a MM with the hole mod and dual fans on my 3905. My gearing is 68/22. Our club has a restriction so we're allowed to go 4S as the highest number of cells to use. :rules:

I hope this helps a bit.... Happy wrenching!!!

Here's my FRANKEMAXX!!! It's a cross between a gorillamaxx and emaxx2. It has a flat-pan chassis but it retained the original battery tray and holders....It now handles like a truggy!!! I hope you like it...:yes::yes:

I have been abusing mine for almost 5 months and have not had any drivetrain problems at all. It's still completely stock but has had several brushless systems on it first it had dual Velineons on it then I switched to a MM with a 7xl on 4s, and now it has a Novak 4.5 in it. The only thing that is not original besides the motor and esc is the bulkheads. I broke one frt and a lower control arm when I first got it but it has been indestructable since then.

It comes with Mod .8 gears on it which is the same as 32 pitch and the Revo mod 1 gears bolt right on to the slipper with no modification. I have a 40t Revo gear that I ran a few times.

From the looks of it, I think it's the stock plastic bulks. Which are great for light weight, but just don't crash.

I went with aluminium bulkheads Here is a link to the ones I'm using. I use the stock shocks. I did bend a shaft on one but I just used pliers wrapped with electrical tape to bend it back. I think they are the same as the rear Stampede shocks but with different springs.

I was running the 1515/1y in maxx and on 4s was not impressive 5s was alot better 6s was really sweet...also I may be wrong but with 1515/2y in the rc calulator it showed with 62/26 gearing only 30ish mph on 6s ...maybe I did that wrong...but for me the maxx was heavy and needed alot of umph to move it so I had 5s in her with 2200kv motor....and with my e-revo it was quick on just 4s with 1515/1y
