new shocks for my t-maxx conversion...what are you all running in your maxxes

Looking to upgrade to better shocks than I have...AL Traxxas ones..which ones have you guys had good luck with...I was thinking of these...http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXKVU3&P=ML
What is the difference between the MSR 4 and MSR 8...just curious

Integy products do not have a good reputation for larger scale rc's (MT's etc).
I would use eigher the Traxxas big bore aluminum shocks, really nice and pretty strong or the UE supershocks (which I think are available through RC Monster). The ue versions are actually 1/8 th scale shocks that have been adapted for use on the maxx trucks. totally bullet proof!!
I think some people are trying to adapt the losi lst2 shocks to the maxx too. They are by far the best shocks in rc but to fit on the maxx you have to cut away too much of the upper a-arm to let them fit in my opinion. Others may have an alternitive though.

I like the pro-line power strokes, my favourite shocks so far.... those and the buggy shocks would be my first choice...

UE Supershocks with "socks" on mine (1 per corner). Totally bullet proof and maint free. No leaking, dripping, literally install and forget it!

If you can get a set the the 8ight T shocks fit with a little a-arm trimming, there Sweet!

I have used traxxas BigBores and Proline PowerStrokes, but like the 1/8 scale Supershocks the best. Excellent dampening and great stability in turns.

I have used the UE shocks and loved them and also the powerstrokes. I currently have ofna buggy shocks for sale and big bores I have are on the bay if your interested.

If you can't find the UE SuperShocks or they are too expensive or you don't like them because they are out of production some 1/8 scale options are:

AE RC8 front shocks
Ofna 1/8 scale shocks (LX1, Mutilator, Hyper 7 or 8 rears)

i would not recommend buying those shocks they look good but the shafts snap the ball ends break and they leak. I bought thouse shocks and would recommend the bigbores over them anyday but the best maxx shocks are the UE ones which i now am using.

I just sold my 8 MRS4s for $80, har har har! I now use the Losi 8t fronts, though I recommend rears, with the stiffest purple springs. And yeah, the Integys leak like a sieve...

I had the MSR5's and they weren't that great... but they sure did look pretty...

Another Maxx with 4 UE supershocks. I've run the powerlines, but put them back in the box when I tried the supershocks. My FLM Emaxx will start with a set of UE Shocks.

I used some hyper 7 shock on me 1/10 Truggy, most ofna/hobao stuff are well made. Simple and sturdy design.
