taping 2.2 tires with tall sidewalls
 

how much of a difference will it make? i picked up a free set of brand new nitro pede wheels from a buddy and i bought some of the new badlands 2.2 tires for them and they stand over 5 inches tall so the sidewalls are tall and the tires are SOO soft they make the moab sidewalls look like 10 plys lol, i have the foams tirmed and wheels preped and im gonna glue them in a few hours and was wondering how much of a difference it would make to tape them and if there is anything special to do when taping a such a tall sidewall tire that is sooo soft.

btw im gonna use use these at the racetrack tomorrow instead of the crappy hard stock tires.

i saw the post a few days ago with the link to the thread someone did on the traxxas forum but i couldnt see the pics for some reason. so any things to definetly not do or watch out for would be help ful becasue i dont wanna waste 30 bucks i spent on new tires and mess up on taping them:wink: i still havent been able to bring myself to buy the 1/8 scale LP wheels and tires i had planned on long ago becasue they are 80 dollars so ive got these now and would really like them to work out and in the end save me 50 bucks.
