My CRT.5 rebuilt for speed runs

Here is my new speed configuration for my CRT.5. I replaced the Mamba 5700 I was using with a Xcelorin 7500kV system and It will run on 3s lipo. Yes I said 3s, the Xcelorins are the only motors that I have seen that are rated for 3s at this kV. I verified this with their tech support. This car is going to get real hot real fast so It will only be used for short speed runs. With the motor at 83,000 rpm it should be pretty zippy. I was going to use a lower kV motor with higher voltage but the batteries are just way to big and way to heavy for this little car. My crt actually weighs in at 3.4lbs before the batteries, which isn't much more than my 4wd buggies which is what this motor is intended for. So, yes this is a little nuts, but hey the guys at losi said the motor can take it, so I guess I will try. So far I like the Losi ESC. It is every bit as adjustable as the MM and comes with the computer link and a quick programming card. It has all the same curve adjustments, cutoff voltages etc. Here are some pics:

So what speed are you hoping for?

Anything north of 70mph and I will be happy. The fastest I had it with the old motor was 58mph. So we will see. Like I said its really just a fun experiment, not going to leave it this way for regular driving.
