G2? you mean the gorillamaxx g2 chassis for the emaxx?

Take a look in the Gorillamaxx section for setup ideas. :)

Cheapest long term strategy for me would be ATM:

MMM - $145
Medusa or Feigao 9XL - $100

Sorry about that yes its my e-maxx.Thanks for the pointers

How good of a combo would the quirk monster 125b and a feigo 9l or 9xl?

drkros3 05.15.2008 01:02 AM

i would just go with the mmm, and a 9xl motor. and a 4cell lipo. you could juse use 2x 2 cell lipos and wire them up so you get 4 cells.

so is the quirk monster any good? I really dont need all that power handling of the mmm

drkros3 05.15.2008 02:12 AM

they are good its just cheaper to go mmm

I received my MMM's today & they are freaking huge.

Too big IMO, but, I've already bought them & will use them.

I've used a Quark SSB Mk III on my BLST & it's more than capable of handling the power up to 6s with a built in switching BEC like the MMM, but, half the size.

As it stands right now i can get the quark monster for $175 off of ebay. Its a seller i trust, any good place to get a feigo 9xl for a good price?Thank you all for the input

Plane and boat sites are good for the feigaos, if mike is out of stock- have a gander through the sites in here: clicky.
Only issue you may have is if the quark develops a fault- not much chance of getting it fixed what with S&T pulling out of the USA.
