Very well deserved, how can it not when the thing performs beyond spec!?

johnrobholmes 05.05.2008 11:44 PM

And they didn't even have to send out an email campaign to get the award. Congrats!

Whom would that be referring to? Just curious.

I have an idea, but would like to hear it from John...

I did not know, but I did guess it was them. Just had a feeling that they would do something like that. I guess the free shirt makes up for the inflated prices?! With tricks like that they should run for a public office!

CC made the MM too good at 1/8 scale. Great job CC. My E-Revo 4s is plenty for me, let alone 6s!

If you got an email from them you would know. Not naming any companies, but I can tell you it is a common practice. When is the last time you saw somebody trying to win a best rig prize and they had all of their friends vote, clear cookies, and vote again? Pretty common for online voting.

TexasSP 05.06.2008 06:29 PM

I figured who you were talking about, just wanted to see if you would name names.

It always amazes me how total crap can win awards. But in CC's case, it is over justified. I would like to see the little orange guys put out an ESC that actually performs well past expectations.

Well I dont know if they won any awards but I know the they sent out emails to post about there products and get the free shirt. There was a big debate on rctech about it a month or so ago.
