I'm looking forward to this. The driveline is centered down the truck instead of offset. Should make for some very nice conversion layouts.

lol, thx. good to know it has a throttle servo, rather than like.. a wireless throttle engagement thingamajigg, and a center diff as opposed to a flux capacitor or some other new fangled junk.

Just yankin yer chain bud, lol.

I can't wait to see some conversions on this platform. I'm a die hard tamiya fan. I have around 12 tamiya models in the basement. All electric, of course.

It could have a solenoid ya know! The way most people drive nitros, all they do is blib-blip-blip the throttle, so a solenoid wouldn't be so bad.

With the body off? I saw it at RCX (with body on only) and it looked very centered. I recall the promo sign even mentioning the fact.

Interesting, so tamiya entered the REAL 1/8 arena, finally.

This means a 1/8 pro buggy is on the board as well.

Thunderbruiser 06.29.2008 05:38 PM

i think it was a prototype with the angeled motor because now looking at the pics on site it's normal that's odd...i guess they decided to stick with conventional layout...or the angeled stuff didn't work...it was a def a tamiya though had all the decals and the parts in the body off look the same..as far as shock towers and such

DRIFT_BUGGY 06.29.2008 07:16 PM

No one has heard any news on it?

I think I'll start saving money.

Mike, one Tamiya motor mount please. :D

The sleekiest I've seen so far. Incredible!
