i can't figure out why....
 

I've got a twin-v 3905 that runs 3s lipos in parallel...i have the battery adapter and i run the y harness from esc to esc to receiver...it runs great.

This week i deceided to get a set of motor fans and run a Y harness to my receiver battery slot to power them...

but when i hooked it all up...no power to the fans...none.
I tried different fans, nothing....so i tried a seperate power source...it worked.


I even dismantled the y harness that hooked up the fans thinking that might be it....i hooked just one fan into the receiver battery slot...still nothing.


so i know the fans do work...my question is why won't my receiver power these fans??

I have a JR racing XR2I radio system.

any ideas?

wow...nobody?....ok, well, someone else who has a twin v setup said it happend to them too...something about too many amps through the receiver. oh well. seperate power source here i come.

did u check to see if u had the plug in the rx the right way? if not check for voltage into and out of the rx

Definitely check polarity on the fans and connectors
