Anyone using the new brushless set up for 1/18 scale from cc
 

Castle claims up to 20% more power than the mamba 25. Any truth to this statement...My mamba 25 w/ 2s and the 5400 motor screams, I cannot imagine 20% more power...wait a minute...yes I can:yes:

I am guessing it can handle 20% more. The same motor and gearing will not benefit from a better esc if the previous esc was working fine. You could run a larger motor with higher gearing with the new esc. I have had good success with the mamba 25, I only have one left and it is in a mini boat.

I have the mamba 25 in my 18B and I love it. I might have to pull a fast one on my friends and get the new esc w/ a hotter motor and as cc says on it's box..."MAKE EM CRY":yes:
