i want to run a neu 1509 in my 808,,, question is which one? i have a 1515 2df in my xb8 and i want to get basically the same thing in a 1509 to save weight for the 808.

What voltage will you be running? 4S or 6S? And what esc.?

My choices would be:
1509/2Y 1820 for 5S and
1509/2.5Y 1450 for 6S.

running 6 minute races so I have a mm and a 4s 3700 pack. have fan on mm and the 1515 doesnt even get warm in the buggy after 6 minutes.

what im doing is i picked up an xt8 truggy so im putting the 1515 with a mmm in the truggy and swapping over the mm from my xb8 to my 808. need motor for 808 and i want light weight.

1509/3d on 4s gets my vote for this project, Ben. I have them on order(as well as the 2y and 1.5y 1509 motors). :)

Thinking the 1509 will get warm compared with a 1515 even though weight will be a bit lighter.

Probably a 3D will do the job just right. 33K rpm on 4S.
