Rx Plug Mod / To Program The Mmm....

OK GUYS,
i was thinking of getting a rx plug(6" long wires) just like the one on the MMM , an splice into the MMM's rx wire and SODIER the other plug/wire to the MMM rx wire...

THAT WAY I DONT HAVE TOO KEEP UNPLUGING THE RX PLUG TO CHANGE SETTINGS ON THE MMM....an i wont need to open my losi's rx box every time i need to program my MMM.....

I think this is a mod alot of people can do/an will like...
What do u guys think???

I'm not sure that will work since you're still backfeeding the signal wire on the Rx. The Castle Link probably won't be able to recognize the MMM.

I was thinking the same thing. You might do better to just run a small extension to the outside of your receiver box and just unplug it there.

^+1
That would be the easiest.

Yeah, the receiver output signals would be conflicting with the link signals. Even when "idle" the receiver is still outputting a signal (around 1.5ms pulses) and not just floating. Maybe use a micro single-pole/double-throw switch on the signal wire would work...

You could just use a 3 wire switch.

something like this could work, though I'm not sure what plug type is on the MMMhttp://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXL287&P=ML

I just made a little ext., just measure you long you require and get a ext as there are only about $5 and come in all different lengths

yeah just an extension so you have a place to tap into. Same problem with traxxas waterproof Rx boxes.
