Help this electrical noob-?????????
I have a little black AstroFlight Inc. meter and just for kicks hooked it up between my Trakpowers and my MMM. It read at WOT 300W, 16.5 volt and 28.9A. The truck had minimal drag. It was balanced on a set of old Traxxas Chevrons. The only drag occured when the tires ballooned it left rubber marks on the garage floor.
So is this useful to me? What does this mean? |
It means both your batts and motor are junk. You should send them to me for a failure analysis.

HAHAHAHA! Not sure what that means, is the meter capable of reading the amount you are putting out? |
Linc you could just drive to the southshore...nah I'll keep them.
What do you mean by putting out? Since it is between the batts and the esc probably not?? My batteries at full charge are 16.5 volts? |

ive got a green wattmeter (from hobbycity, $40) which takes up to 60v, 100A.. would i be able to hook this into my buggy and use it like a "top draw monitor and see how much mah im using or would it harm it exposing it to large currents...?"
thanks, ryan. BTW: if you touch the ends after its had current through it, it hurts! zap! |
