Anyone else? I would be using these in a Tekno revo.

im running 5s consistenly, i would say 14cells will be fine

I believe there are older Mamba Max's that can handle 14 cells better.

Some of the newer off-the-line Mamba Max's not so much.

Can someone confirm this?

I don't know how old mine is but all I run is 14-cell

mine spontaneously combusted when I tried 5s lipo. it was GriffinRu modded too. ran 4s all day long not breaking 115 degrees, on 5s it armed and went up in flames before I even pulled the trigger. This was about a 2 year old MM. 14 cells may work fine, it may let the smoke out, only one way to find out if your's is safe ;)

So, i should be able to run 14-cell Nimh with no problem, i already have some 7-cell packs, so along with my lipos i would get even more runtime.
