R1pro with a power cap...
 

Guys,

I've just installed a 30v cap I've got from Mike to the R1 esc.
When I first connected the batt to the esc, the cap made a ( fsssssss) sound and I fastly disconnected the batt. I touched the cap and it felt very hot.

I reconnected the batt again and again the cap went berserk.

Do you think this is a reverse polarity issue?

Shall I solder it the other way around?

sounds like reverse polarity...u probably need a new cap, the side with the stripe is the negative side

I thought the side with the stripe is the POSOTIVE pole......
