3905 tranny or Gorilla maxx single speed

Which tranny between the stock 3905 e-maxx and the Gorilla Maxx single speed is the better one??? Can take the harder beating???

Depends on the Internals really, both will get beaten with stock gears...

The G-maxx will have less rotating mass though

oh btw ygpm

The 3905 tranny has no more rotating mass than the gorilla single speed as it is single speed as well. The 3905 tranny has fixed the issues with the old tranny so there is really no need to spend money on something else. It holds up fine to my neu 1515/2.5d and is doing well for many others. In fact I have not heard of any tranny failures on the 3905.

OK i ask this question because i don't know if i'll buy a brand new 3905 or if i'll buy the e-maxx of one of my friend. His e-maxx has alot of hopups, gorrilla maxx single speed, 3905 diff on both end, Traxxas steel CVD, aluminium chassis brace and lot more, and i've it for a realy good price.

I want to drop in my Neu 2.5d, with my MGM 16018 and a pair of 6s wired in paralel.

OK another question, is i'am beter to take 2x 3s in serie or 2x 6s in parallel:neutral:
