Cc/neu Motors
 

I Would really like an update on these upcoming motors. What size will they be? what type? When are they being released?
There has been some speculations and rumors that the first will be a 1515size 1Y (2200Kv). And later on another 1515 sized motor and then some 1512 sized motors. Patric or Joe at CC, could either of you shed some light on the matter. I would be grateful. Thanks.

Castle has a Neu motor section on their website, you can order any 1500 series motor on there right now.

I Am asking about the upcoming CC/Neu motors, not the Neu motors.

Yeah thats right. Tower Hobbies has the combo listed on their site with the 2200kv motor. They will be bringing out the 1515's 1st and then later on 1512's

the combo just went from 280is to 349 on tower !!

Yeah & will probably still change at Tower before it comes out. How ever managed to back order it with their special coupon before the price change is lucky

They are the same thing except the CC's are green. CC is now a distributor and stocks Neu motors.

It has been fairly established that they are very similar but not the same. As i understand it some of the differences are:
-Casing closed
-Not carbon inside as the "real" Neu
-Wires comes out on the side, not in the back
-Probably heavier then the Neu?
-The motor shaft probably has a flat spot?

This is why i started this tread, i want more info about the differences because the Neu and CC (Neu design motors) are NOT the same. So Patric or Joe or someone elson from CC, i would really like to know more of your upcoming motors, i have several questions in my first post.

well ive got a 50 code: 014fr for over 299. But a lot of the other guys were talking about buying it with the 60 code, so im guessing the yanks get a different set of codes to us.

The only $60 codes I have are if I spend $600. Not even sure that I need it since I already bought a Monster (from someone here) and a tekno neu. Just wanted a spare esc incase I have any problems with this one. Actually have just an esc on backorder too but will probably cancel that and just keep the combo.

Most of the higher $ codes you guys have won't work for anyone else. They only work if they were e-mailed to the address you have linked to your Tower account.
