A Canadian expedition

Leaving saturday morning to fly into Toronto airport, to go spend a week with my friend in the Muskokas (sp?) on his family's lakehouse. Should be a fun time! I'll try to log in to RC-M as much as possible up there, but it's dial up IIRC so I'm not sure how long I'll be able to stand being on the computer. Hopefully Mom back in CA will call me when my MBX4 gets here!

Eeeww dial-up! You may want to use your phone's internet, assuming you have service up there, it will probably be faster. Oh, and, have fun!

BL_RV0 07.09.2008 05:28 PM

Yep. Does AT&T have service up there for anyone that may know?

See if you can go to the Elsinore brewery, and get some beers, eh...

If you bump into Bob or Doug McKenzie say hi for me, you hoser.

OK. I'll send out a one-man search party for them, (my friends 12-year-old brother!)

At&T has service in Canada/Toronto, but I wouldnt use it much. My wife is a consultant and had to travel to Toronto for a couple onths. The first cell phone bill that came after her being up there was $1000!!!!!! from internaltiona roaming charges. I called. They dont have a plan that helps much so dont use your phone more than you need to. BTW... Data was more expensive than the actual phone useage so be carfull there too.

Have fun up dare!!

Thanks for the heads up!

Uhh yeah $1K phone bill? No thanks! I'd live with dial-up if I were threatened with something like that! :surprised:

If you have time, stop by Sid's Raceway for some exciting electric off road racing.
This Sunday we are having a big race and I will have my e-RC8 for demonstration during the lunch break in between the 2nd and 3rd round of qualifiers.

We posted it closed since we just got a huge downpour but it will be open for practice Saturday and the race on Sunday.
