Private message question

Ok,
So, I just sent someone a few private messages, what I had written was to long to fit into on PM. When they log in and get the pop-up screen stating they have a PM, which will show up first, the newest or the oldest? If read out of context (not in order) it will not make much sense...

did you actually type to much or did you have the left over quoted previous messages too. You can delete all of the quoted material and it will allow more typing. Also the newest message will be to the top of the list.

I typed to much, way to much.
Oh well, guess they will figure it out in the end (just be confused in the middle).

wow i cant imagine what you were typing then. it takes a lot of characters to fill the PM quota.

max PM is 2000 characters, the PMs I sent were 5800 characters.
I was talking with an employee of one of the electronic manufacturers that posts on the board.

yeah 2000 is a lot but i guess not enough lol. good luck.

I tend to be long winded. Also, I will restate the same thing several times just phrased differently. It is a habit I picked up at work, no one at my job wants to answer your question, just figure out what they can say to avoid the question.

Might be best to exchange emails at that point...

Wow, 5800 chars... You may want to compress that file first!

i would hate to see what your coding would look like if you were a programmer. lol

Comon Brian... That would make sense...

To further disclose:
I believe the other party is on vacation (they have not visited the site in a week). I sent them a few PMs earlier this week, before noticing their "tardiness". Then I had called the company today to ask for something, and I wanted some clarification as I tend to get better information from this person directly then I get form customer service.

I would make a horrible programmer, to many typos, but when I took a programming class in college it was always longer then needed... (I didn't like/wasn't good at the shortcuts).
