Replacement Motor /BK Warrior Controller
 

E-Maxx 14 cells 4700, BK Warrior 9918, truck is approx 12 pds. ready to run. Currently running a Feigo 9L, motor performs well but runs very hot. Controller and batteries are fine. Have tried different combos of gearing with no success. Have seen others posting with similar heat issues. I would like to replace the motor but need help with compatabilty. We do like speed and torque. Your help is appriciated.

The warrior can't handle 4 poles, like the Neu motors.

the 9L is a hot running motor to start with, you could aim for an 8XL, which is larger, produces more torque and less heat.
