F103gt owners?

Anyone own this car? Looks great since I'm just looking for a simple, durable, fast onroad car with sweet body choices.

Can anyone shine some light on it?

What's the slowest bl motor available since it is direct drive and all.

Thanks.

I had one, and bought it used. Never really got it to work right. 2wd is more difficult (fun) to drive than 4wd. If you want a cheap 10th scale vehicle that will last, any tamiya tt-01 chassis will do you well. They are very sturdy...

i've got half a one. Bought some parts for it off here for a speed car. Not got round to finishing it yet. :(

But the tt-01 is so sloppy in the steering department. Plus, I'm worried I'll outgrow it too quickly.

I bought a F103RM couple weeks ago. I'm still waiting for it cause its a Hong Kong company. The steering on the RM should be alot better than the GT. I'm planning to drag race with this car and it comes with 2.5in wide foam tires, which I like :). I'll let you know about the steering when it arrives.

This is true, I put a ball bearing bellcranck setup on mine, and made turnbuckles out of traxxas ball ends and links. I have done 74mph so far with it, and it tracks straight and true.

Thanks for the input guys, but I just can't commit due to parts support. I guess for now I'll just have to look for a subaru body for my buggy or maybe just buy a slash body to somewhat satisfy me.
