G revo motor, voltage, choices

What do you Guys recommend for the G revo?
It will be as close to stock weight as poss.
It will need to manage 10-15 Min's racing.
I will be using GP3300'S at first , maybe Lipo's later.

any thoughts? :)

How many cells you got king? Dafni liked the 7xl over the 9L. I like the bigger motors as well. I was only getting about 10 min on 7xl. I get a lot longer with a 9xl.

As many as it needs I suppose, I'm not sure

The Lehner's are more efficient than the Feiago's though arn't they?

MetalMan 10.14.2005 07:50 PM

Yes, they are. But a 7XL is more powerful than a Lehner XL. Lehners are best when you have the extra cash to spend on one of the 19 series motors. Extreme power!

I run a 9L on 14 cells with a 51t spur & 12t pinion in my EVO. I got 12 min. Before my steering servo broke, i was still pulling wheelies at 12 min and had runtime left in my batteries.

Okay, i've got a 9L laying around, i guess i need to give it a swirl..

How was the temp of that 9L Hippie? you have got a heatsink mounted?

CHC, how many cells are you using with the 7XL on your revo

Ive got one on my E maxx with 18cells , but it can't manage 10mins.

coolhandcountry 10.15.2005 07:27 AM
