Loud mesh-only forward.
 

Hey guys i already searched this but i couldnt quite find what i was looking for.


I have a losi 8 converted with rcmonsters motor mount, i just have a quick question ; when i roll the truck backward it has a smooth sound, but when i roll it forward it seems to have a louder and crunchy mesh. What could be the problem?

I've already tried adjusting the motor and the mount itself but nothing takes this sound away, im using rcmonsters hardened 16t pinion on the stock 48t spur. thanks.

just run it, the gears need to wear into one another, same thing happened to me :D

thats what i thought - just wanted to clarify as i dont want to buy another 12$ pinion.

Thanks , that just helped me out as well . The noise of metal to metal is scary compared to plastic spurs.
