Best X1-CRT Brakes?

Hey everyone, I am looking for the best brakes for my BL Savage that I am working on. I am posting this in the truggy section because I am using an X1-CRT center diff, so I want the brakes to match. I am looking for the brakes with the most stopping power that will not fade. I've done some searching around and so far I have found these: http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ducts_id/13086
I will probably be doubling up on each side of the diff.
So the question is: are fiber brakes better than metal ones?
And will the brakes I posted be sufficient?
Thanks.

Seems like metal disks with some sort of fiber pad on the backing plates works the best. I have the optional double disk set on my savage, with the stock tranny. It stops just fine, and my truck is not light. If you do a double set front and rear you will have killer brakes. You can most likely get away with a single disk on the rear. No harm in having 2 disks though...

Thunder Tiger makes a good set of brakes with an aluminum core that acts like a heat sink. They are also supposed to have no fade.

Today was the first day I used them and they are working good so far.
