NEU Motors meaning

Hi Guys,

Just a quick question, you all know those NEU motors from castlecreations I think. ( www.castlecreations.com )
Just a example, the 1515/2.5D NEU motor, what does all that stuff mean? 1515 is the size of the motor, but which size? The diameter of the motor? 1,515 inches or something?
And what does the 2.5D means?

Ty in advance!

the numbers are the diameter and length of the rotor i beleive

the 2.5D and Y is the turn number and either delta or wye pattern

Can anyone confirm that it is length of rotor or motor?

Rotor, the motors are much longer than 12, 15, 21 mm...

it`s inches actually...

the first number is the diameter of the motor [actually the 'class' rather than an accurate diameter size], the second is the length of the rotor.

1512= 1.5" dia. stator and 1.2" long rotor

1515= 1.5" dia. stator and 1.5" long rotor

and so on
