like it says has anyone tried it out in a erevo if so were the temps cool were they blistering hot what batts were you using with it what controller what gearing and what controller thanks for any info

Temps should be fine, if you gear for 40mph...

I would go with 6s lipo, a pair of 3s lipos in series. I know the polyquest 4500mah 30c lipos will fit in the trays...

I would go with a MMM. Best esc out there for a big motor.

what if i try to gear to 50

Not sure if the zippy packs you mention in the other thread will handle 50mph. Maybe for a few speed runs, but not constantly.

what about the elite 4500mah 30c one will that work as well would they fit in the compartments would the poly rc 5000mah30c fit in

if i were to use those batts can i be able to gear the motor up to 70 or would the motor become to hot

Wow, that thing really is an amp hog. I've got a kb45 8xl and put it on 4S and it pulls 10 amps with no load. I would hate to see what it pulls under load.
