Alright, you guys aren't going to believe this. Here's a little background . . . I've been running my MMM in my XT8 since it came out. It's going on a 6s with a Neu 1515 and works awesome. Yes, the fan has died, but it still works great.

Anyway, the other day I recieved a USPS box in the mail from CC. I'm thinking "hmm, this is weird . . . I haven't ordered anything lately". So I open the box and there's a new MMM inside. I'm totally confused and figure I better let them know. Then I see a receipt inside that says my card had been charged. Then I know I have to contact them :lol:

So I sent a PM to Patrick here on the forum letting him know the situation and said something like "what should I do?". Well, he writes back and here's what he says:

"OOPS! Sorry Rob -- I guess we screwed up.

Contact Christy at 913-390-6939 x 116 to get your credit card charged back. Let her know I contacted you by email about this.

You can keep the MMM -- on us.

What I got a kick out of was Patrick saying "sorry". Yeah, "hey, sorry we're giving you a brand new MMM esc" - hilarious.

well you have a v1 mmm in your xt8 right? so send it back for a V2 and put the free v2 in the truck for the mean time. perfect.....:-)

Um, yeah . . . Patrick didn't say I had to use it a certain way. I can't afford a new build on another vehicle and my MMM is running great. Besides I need some parts for my XT8 that I couldn't afford right now. Do you have a better idea?

It would be hard to sell it with out making a profit lol.

I wouldn't be selling it though. I would be keeping it as a spare for sure.

I'm sure everyone would have a different use for it and that's cool - some would keep it some would sell it. For my situation right now this seemed to be the best scenario. Regardless the thing I still can't get over is how awesome CC is. What an amazing company!!

That is true. They are sending me another MMM and they said hold on to the dead one until they work out what they want me to do with it. It is really good because it means I only have to wait 2 weeks for a monster instead of 4.
