thats really awesome, lots of gyos and programming:lol:

That is seriously the most amazing robotic anything I have seen.
That thing even handled the ice really well too. Only thing that could be improved would be to make it electric of course! I'm sure it loses a bit of it's potential with all that noise it makes.

Holy that thing is cool! :D

gimpygolden 08.21.2008 05:58 PM

At first I thought it was a joke, like a couple guys in a horse costume. Pretty impresive.

jayjay283 08.21.2008 06:25 PM

that thing creeps me out. Dont know why but looking at that video makes me uneasy

jnev 08.21.2008 06:29 PM

 to what jayjay said. I saw it a while ago, but still amazing none-the-less. Its funny when it gets kicks... it barely even moves. And the way it reacts on the ice is just like a real animal... juts amazing.

lucias 08.21.2008 06:39 PM

I saw it on TV the other day.. the movie wasnt as in depth, I think it was on modern marvels or the science channel

kulangflow 08.21.2008 06:52 PM

It was even more amazing five months ago!

j/k ... I just had to razz you.

Mike_D 08.21.2008 07:36 PM

That is one of the creepiest and coolest things i have ever seen.

TruckBasher 08.21.2008 07:57 PM

It looks odd but nevertheless it awesome....the wonders of robotics...

Takedown 08.21.2008 09:04 PM

Saw this on discorvery awhile back a few times. Looks neat.

jhautz 08.21.2008 09:44 PM

The thing looks like a giant fly and sounds like one too...

What's_nitro? 08.21.2008 11:04 PM

THAT...is truly amazing. :surprised:

Like others have said, the way it walks and reacts to it's environment is just like a real animal. They really should put some metal studs in the feet though- That was pretty cruel making it walk onto the ice unprepared! I'll be the engineers were in shock when it didn't fall over!

I think the older thread on it was here. mighta been somewhere else though...

very cool and kinda creepy.
