Another 1/10 RTR by Losi

For that price im guessing it is not a Corr Truck as it is cheaper than the Slash. It can't be a rock crawler as it is $50+ cheaper than the 1/18 scale. It is the same price as the upcoming Slider so my guess is a XXX-S Chassis 1/10 version of the L8IGHT/Dirt Oval

jnev 08.22.2008 01:59 AM

I think a 1/18 desert truck...

DRIFT_BUGGY 08.22.2008 02:25 AM

But it is 1/10 scale

t-maxxracer32 08.22.2008 02:27 AM

that would be interesting ^^
but it sais right there 1/10 so i dont think its a 1/18

could it just be a cheap rustler type truck? i wouldnt think so because they already have one but ya never know...

jnev 08.22.2008 02:31 AM

Wow, I'm blind.... I read it as 1/10 and then when I wrote the reply I thought 1/18... I really have no idea now. Maybe a race ready XXX-T roller? But I doubt it could possibly be so cheap...

DRIFT_BUGGY 08.28.2008 05:26 AM

Well the Traxxas Stampede has some competition

lucias 08.28.2008 10:14 AM

Does it really though? I think it looks cheaper built than a stampede..

lincpimp 08.28.2008 10:15 AM

Wow, another ho-hum losi sport product. I seriously doubt it can take the beating that a pede can... On a positive note it is probably better that a MLST, and cheaper!

I will say that it appears that some of losi's products are just not up to snuff. I have a xxx-cr buggy that is incredibly well made, and shows quite a bit of design and engineering. I also have a losi 8 buggy, and can't help but feel that the hyper8 I have is far superior... The 8 buggy just does not "feel" or look as well made.

Highly doubt that with Losi's reputation as of late that it will stand up to the pede in durability. Not too mention that the pede has a cult following behind it........

Heck, I will be first to admit that I had much more fun with my stock XL5 pede than the FLM/Mamba version I built it in to.

lucias 08.28.2008 10:58 AM

You probably had more fun just because you didn't care when you beat the heck out of the stock version... I know that's how I am..

t-maxxracer32 08.28.2008 11:02 AM

gotta agree on that texassp. ive had a total of 5 or so rustlers and the first one i ever got brand new brushed xl-5 has been my favorite so far (got that about 5 years ago)

the losi "pede" looks pretty cool but it all depends on the durability like everyones been saying.

Happywing 08.28.2008 12:47 PM

I don't know how you improve the present Traxxas Stampede. It's not a racer and never will be which makes performance/handling upgrades a waste. The Pede is the ultimate basher-fun-truck. The Losi just can't be more durable. Other than durability, how do you make a Pede better?

rootar 08.28.2008 01:00 PM

anyone notice the motor mount ON top of the tranny? kinda cool keeping it up less out of harms way, it looks decent and thats about the only thing losi sells there junk on now is looks so i figure theyll be pretty popular

Takedown 08.28.2008 01:28 PM

I dont know what you guys think but I think its awsome. Should be some long awaited competition for the stampede.

Aluminum Shocks, a better Servo and a motor that will work for more than 4 battery packs

Anyone had any experience with that Losi LM-32K motor?
