question about mamba esc motor compatibility
 

Do you guys think that if I ran this motor: http://cgi.ebay.com/Team-Orion-2008-...2em118Q2el1247

with a mamba max esc would I have cogging? I'm using the new firmware, but I wasn't sure since it is a sensored bl motor. :neutral:

it will perform just like any other unsensored motor, all depends on your settings, make sure your start power is up, yes the firmware helps

It'll run great. I've run a Vortex 5.5 with a MM before the latest firmware upgrade and it worked great. I can only imagine that with the newest firmware upgrade, it'll be even smoother.

I ran a Novak hv4.5 on a MM with 2S in a crt.5 till my Medusa came. Only had to run it for a couple days but had no issues. Iactually thought about keeping it in there but didn't want to cut the sensor cable and I wanted to use a bigger pinion than 11t, 5000kv is a bit much even on 2S, at least for my liking.
