Interesting... Lightweight corr truck, relative to 1/8 buggy conversions out there. Will be watching this thread.

Challenge.
It looks like a nice challenge. Now lets see how fast you can make it run? I used to watch the road racers a few years back, but have never worked on or driven one. I started in the monster truck side just a couple of years ago, and have done nothing but Maxx builds so far. Once I get all of our Maxx trucks up and running I hope to either try the XRAY 808, Baja 5b, XTM/MMT, or go for a road racer car for something a little different. So teach me something with this build so I can figure out what direction to go. Good luck itsme.

Thanks guys,
raising the bar!! http://img296.imageshack.us/img296/5...7493132vn8.jpg http://img296.imageshack.us/img296/1...7505541yn5.jpg http://img136.imageshack.us/img136/8...7519144wf1.jpg This is only mock up and that loop on the axle is not staying. |
No you didn't... But because you did, you beat me to it.

Well, at least there will be some differences between ours. For example, mine uses an upgraded MT2 front end, MT2 chassis cut out at the front as a Slash-like skidplate/chassis brace, raised chassis like the Slash, beefed up Wheely King rear axle, etc. Your build will be interesting to watch, no doubt!

Is the center drive from a tower terror? Looks very similar if it is not... I really like this idea, cant wait to see the finished results. The tlt axle should be fine, but you may want to invest in some straight axle adapters, and the one piece axles. Adapters: http://rc4wdstore.com/product_info.p...roducts_id=563 One piece axles: http://rc4wdstore.com/product_info.p...roducts_id=567 And this looks like a great idea: http://rc4wdstore.com/product_info.p...roducts_id=600 |

Great job, should look really nice! Glad you went with an actual axle in the rear.
