Building FLM Brushless Savage
 

I am converting my Savage so far I got my Savage X
Part on order :FLM Kit Castle Mamba Monster Feigao "XL" 10 Brushless Motor
15 t pinion 48 t robinson Spur futaba Fasst 2.4 Hitec Digital Hi Torque HS-5955TG Servo and I was going to use stock one for my manual brake.
I really like my brushless E-Revo and E-maxx as for as the brake and reverse
can I make my FLM Savage work the same as my E's with the speed control only

I was think about reverse and Yes or No?

The stock reverse brakes very easy. Make sure you get a really good battery!!!

Nice setup you have going there, similar to mine.

What I did was lock the tranny into second gear, the BL motor has plenty of torque, and removed the oneway bearing. This way you can use your monster to run reverse and brake which is working great for me. Once this is done your reverse module, if you have one, comes out and so does you manual brake along with all supporting hardware, sure does clean things up.
