I like the new ones. Are they really different or did the just change to the headers instead of the wires now.

They are different PCB's from the original CL's. The one in the pic in this thread though is even newer as it has header pins instead of wires.

I cant figure out where to put that thing. The controller is air tight. I cant find 3 holes on the controller to insert that thing into? Can anyone help? thanks.

You should have a usb cable that plugs in one end (mini usb goes to the CL), and then the 3 pins plug into the Rx lead coming from the esc- you have to unplug it from the actual Rx.

I think it is in the owner's manual.
If you didn;t read it yet.. You really really should.

It's still the same as the old one. They just removed the connector coming straingt out of that thing. There's also a marking on those indicating +, -, and signal.

No, this is a new-new CL. It's not the same PCB as the original Castle Link. If I can remember to, I'll snap some pics of my old one tonight.

Here's a side by side. Newer one on the right.

Thank you for posting that. Now I don't have to take a pic of mine.

They were both sitting out on my computer desk. The older one's been smoked for a couple months now.
