Mod 1 Pinions
Is there anyone who sells Mod 1 Pinions with 1/8" bore? or am I going to buy the mod 1 pinions with the 5mm bore and then buy the bore reducer. This is my kustom motor mount for the revo. it isn't done yet.

Kershaw designs sell 1/8 bore pinions...

Just buy 5mm pinions are bore reducers - That was when you go to brushless you won't have to buy new pinions...

jjlatuszek: I second the advice to get 5mm bore Mod1 pinions and use a bore reducer. Will make the future upgrade to BL more painless. Also, I would watch the mesh. The mount looks strong, but motors tend to "bounce" when the vehicle jarred (like in jumps) and may flex the mount enough to strip spurs. If you find yourself shearing spurs, you might want to look at a different mount. |

No I'm sorry you can not use a MOD 1 pinion with a non-mod 1 spur.. (Sorry they don’t work with each other)..

I got the 5mm pinions with bore reducers. I also put some not so good pictures of comparison of mod 1 and 32 pitch pinions.
