Radios.
I can't figure out why my XR3i has no brakes. Ive completely read the manual and done everything that it said to do. No dice. I need something 75mhz, FM and I'd prefer 3ch, but 2 is ok. I was thinking of a M8 with a 75mhz module, but I have doubts if it'll work with my Hitec and JR rxs. (My XR3i didnt work with my airtronics rxs.) Any suggestions??

I have a 3pm by Futaba...I like it. Took me a while to figure out all the ins and outs of it. All in all it is a good radio and a lot cheaper than others.

Is it easy to program? I'm a radio noob.

Not that bad...you have to carefully read the directions...The end points exp. are simple to set up. The hardest for me was adding models to memory and not over riding the existing memory. With anything, the more you use it the easier it becomes. Now it is no big deal to me...of course it has been 2yrs. w/the radio. The manual is a bit intimidating though..
I don't mean to sound negative about the radio. As with any radio, it can be confusing at times...but, it is a lot cheaper than others and I am glad I made the choice for the 3pm.. Hope this helps! Good luck, I love your dancing banana, makes me laugh every time I see it....:mdr: |
