Where can you get a strobe slipper clutch set-up?
 

Can anyone help me find a strobe slipper clutch set-up? do they make them anymore, or do you have to make your own? Im in the process of building a Gorillamaxx g2r and haven't had any luck trying to find (or which) parts to get to make a strobe slipper clutch for the g1 transmission. the pic below is what i'd like it look like.

I dont think you can get them anymore, unless you can manage to find a used one from someone. Most people that change slippers now use the RR slippers.

Hey thanks for the reply. I felt like I kept running into a wall with this topic I just could find any info where to get that slipper clutch. I was looking at the RR clutch set-up, maybe i'll have to go that route after all.

If you really want a strobe your best bet is looking on ebay every few days. That's where I got mine from, I then made my own sprong by using a rubber gasket thing for taps, and an extra disc from my stock slipper to apply the pressure. Works well.

I posted want to buy in the UE and RCM forums and was able to score 3 of them last year. I would do that and like Anson said check flebay.

Any link to those RR slippers ?

Or skip all that and mod a revo spec slipper on there! Not hard to do and it works great

Are you looking for the sprong with it?

i need am complete set....

The Sprong was not part of the kit originally.

I have a what would amount to about 2 complete RR kits - plus extra gears to go with it. PM me if you want it (not free of course - but I'd make you a decent deal on it!).
