Hey will this work on a ofna mbx
I don't know.
If you tell me dimensions, then I can check. Artur |
well accually don't worry about it. I don't want to mount my motor to the side. Get in way of my batteries. I like to have a top mount though. It would look good on buggy and truck. What kind of measurement do you need
Nice product! And nice timing, too!!
This thing will put my motor closer to the spur. One of those things has my name on it! Yay! Can't wait to get it! |
Will it work in a MBX4?
Can some one explain to me the brake situation with these buggys that have a center dIff. I do not understand. besides the MOtor mount etc... what do you need to do to the gear/diff?
I not quite sure on the question papa. You need to get the metal gear off and a plastic one on. As far as brakes. Just use the motor.
Maybe I am crazy! I was under the impression that the mechanical brake was still needed. It came to mind when I saw the pic above with the brakes in it? I switching out the gear a challenge?
not on the ofna buggies where the ofna 51 tooth is a direct bolt. Others are a little more. Like making the adapter. I have not ran my buggy yet papa. I not sure what to expect as far as brakes. The center diff has oil in it so may have to get that right for braking to.
Sounds Like My CRT Conversion should work out. Now if I could just find a quality motor mount?
I do not know about MBX4, but if you can compare diff. housing from MBX5 then you will get an answer.
As for brakes, with center diff, you need to use original disk brakes or combo. In my case, due to the fact that motor is too close to the diff, I am utilizing front disk barke and rear electric motor brake. Just electric wont do the job, unless you make your center diff. very tight. Artur P.S. I make this pinion from original mugen pinion http://forum.rcdesign.ru/index.php?a...=post&id=16023 http://forum.rcdesign.ru/index.php?a...=post&id=16024 http://forum.rcdesign.ru/index.php?a...=post&id=16025 |

That is how it looks with Shultze 18.97 / Feigao 9L / 12 I3800 http://forum.rcdesign.ru/index.php?a...=post&id=17276 Artur P.S. Only 5 adapters left... |
That's an interesting way to mount the batteries. How's the COG of it? The motor looks pretty low, which is good. Which motor is that?
