Who has a Aitronics MX-3 2.4Ghz

I am looking at replacing my JR XS3 Radio with the Aitronics MX-3 2.4Ghz and wanting to know if anyone has feedback on them?
Also, the rx size is 1.19 x 1.06 x .87. Is the .87 'A' or 'B' in the picture?

I think this should help you out. Ive had no issue what so ever, inexpensive compaired to its fellows, 18 model memory or something (im on 5 rx for the 1 radio) the directions suck, but if you have had a digi radio its not hard, I dont think it has channel mixing, never needed it but maybe you would.

The rx in a 8T box, think its the same as the 8 you roll, as you can see takes up about 1/2, I fit all the wires for MM/bec/fan, extension cords etc in there, before the monster with less cords

Thanks, very helpful. Can't believe how much free room in there. I can barely fit a bees d*#k in the box with the JR RS300 RX in

I have the MX3 as well and the receivers are hella small, making bees d*#k look larger then they really are.

I have one of mine sitting on the servo. You can see how small it is compared to the Mamba esc.

these radios any good, i was going to bid on one on ebay but coouldnt find any info or reviews. i like the solid antenna. ended up selling less than 200 posted so i thought it was a decent deal. what are the features like? comparable to a futaba 3pm?

ive got 3 options i think (that i can afford)
3PM
DX3R
or this one.

dx3.0 seem dodgy, and the 3pk/4pk are so expensive once you add 2.4gig. whats the best value glitch free (truely) 2.4?

jayjay283 09.22.2008 11:30 PM

the dx3r has way more stuff. This is like a JRxs and xr series but 2.4ghz, has all the stuff, epas etc, but not the extra 50 bells and whistles. Still to much crap for me to get around to messing with. Great radio, but not an all pro racer, they have them at hobby people now for $149 with a rx, and you can get more rx from amain for $84. Never had a problem with it, cant tell you the range because ive lost sight of my truck before control of it

Really crappy photo but you kind of get the idea on how much room I have in my current RX Box

I run 2 of them and they work fine. I dont have any glitching issues and I always have complete control of the truck
