What Pinion Size?!?!
I got an e-revo comming up. I have a hv-maxx on 14 cells, stock e-maxx tranny. Im running panther pythongs on hurricane rims. Can you guys help me calculate? Im gunna use ib3800s. Help me calculate the best speed while being able to go complete a 15 minut a-main!

i would have a nice selection about 3-4. i would start with what ever novak recommends. i think its 12.
p.s.-dont be affraid to spend a few extra dollars on the mod 1 pinions and a strobe slipper. |

HEy! can a 70t work on a HV-maxx? With a 10t? I heard there was mounting problems with hv-maxx and that the pinion cant reach the spur.
|
Why don't you try some of novaks recomendations like 72 and 15?
|
novak changed there recommendations. Is that the new or old mike.
|
cuzz, i dont have them! itake what i have!
|

What Squee said, i second. Do it right or buy twice |
well, when i bought the tranny, the guy had 70t, no 72t! it was faster for me to just buy the 70t from him! rather then wait nother week for a 72t! the pinon came with the system!

Then i would suggest you wait till you can get the right gearing, because if it burns up you will be in the same boat you were in before, except you won't have the money you lost.
Its not worth it to risk it, even if you have the money to fix it. |

Just be careful. I don't know if sensored has a sweetspot like the unsensored so watch your temps.
