Both. It'll use the sensored/sensorless technology. I was actually giving some leads for them to do a sensored 4 pole motors. They might release an 8 pole motor. I told them 4 and 6 poles are good, but 8 pole would be nice too.

8 poles would be very nice.

If Hobbywing doesn't pull a stunt like they did with the Xerun then yes. E-mail replied.

I should have a unit in a couple of weeks for testing. They'll be displaying one at the iHobby.

Sweet. My 1/10 Hobbywing ESC is still holding up strong. Those motor wires don't look very large

snellemin 10.16.2008 02:31 AM

Those powerwires look rather small. Or is the ESC that big?

teknorc 10.16.2008 02:51 AM

Do I see two sets of battery leads? Do you know if you have to run two packs or is one of those pairs for the switch?

I thought that two but the wires seem big for a switch

DRIFT_BUGGY 10.16.2008 03:14 AM

Do you have any info on the motor at all?
