Anyone interested in the warthog from Halo
 

Figured some of you guys would get a kick out of my new project.

Weta made a full scale vehicle for the video shorts for the movie Bungee was supposed to make.

My buddy liked it so much he put out the idea that I couldn't build one:whistle:

He knew what he was doing:wink:

I started planning it and designing it the end of September, which is less than a month ago:rules:
Here's a link to what it looks like now, have had a couple other projects keeping me busy and I need a chassis to further construction....

Have the parts to finish the outside skin, the wheelbase is going to be between like 125" and 135"
it sits 8'4" at the widest point and the wheels will set just inside of that so it will be just about as wide as I can put on the street.

No idea if I can make it pass all the safety inspections, everything DOT, windshield must be approved....

might just be an offroad vehicle but that's not goal

wow, i was half expecting some POS. but OMG......im can i drive it.hehe:lol:

looks pretty good for working on it maybe 3 nights and putting in maybe the same amount if time into the design on the computer ehh? :lol:

cleaned up the page a bit, pictures open in new links, thumbnails are smaller and load much faster, put up a bunch more pictures of the welding of the thing.
I also posted a link to this build on an xbox forum a couple days ago and my buddy just called me to tell me some people were already posting it all over the place, he found it on some dedicated halo forum.
