Gott screwed on the 9920....

I got screwed. the motor wasnt a feigao or a nemsis. it was a Cordite! Never even heard of it. Futhermore, the idiot SOLDERED the wires from the motor, to the connecters on the controller... The controller's shirnkwrap shows holes in it, that i've seen on batteries when they are overheated.

What? So your saying the guy that sold you your 1 way to shut up scammed you? :p Can you get some pics?

Dafni 11.21.2005 04:17 PM

Umm, hard-wiring the ESC to the motor is the approved method, dude. And holes in the shrink are a common sight, too.

the holes im not surprised. but the motor really pissed me off. Can u find me a price on th emotor? and he didnt solder WIRE TO WIRE, he soldered WIRE to CONNECTER! what guy does that????? u can make out the gold color, and the silver solder.

Nick 11.21.2005 04:30 PM

That is a 9920.

The motor just looks like a rebadged Feiago, most of them are.

Your fault, ask for pictures when you buying 2nd hand items. Doesn't take a genious to re-solder them either!

Your really over reacting over this.

nbcaznmaster 11.21.2005 04:32 PM

OH! so u telling me fine design jsut repainted it and stamped this sticker on it?

Nick 11.21.2005 04:34 PM

No, it is most likely another company, that takes the same motor design.

Like Mtronics brushless motors are Feiagos. It happens, I'm sure they performe exactly the same.

I can't belive you didn't ask for pictures of it before you bought it!

nbcaznmaster 11.21.2005 04:39 PM

i did ask for pictures! the guy covered teh sticker with teh rc-monster heatsink. The conector/solder was covered with electrical tape.

Gustav 11.21.2005 04:46 PM

so just put new plugs on if you want,or solder wire to wire. What's the big deal?

Maybe he bought it with the male plugs on from someone else or maybe he just didn't have any female plugs at the time. The warrior doesn't come with plugs on though, well mine didn't.I don't think he was trying to scam you.

nbcaznmaster 11.21.2005 04:51 PM

i know, oh yeah, how do i remove the red piece to program? I tried to with pliers, and i chipped it. Do i take the whole red pice, or just that copper piece? I dont wanna pull it to hard.... Tried to do with finger but its too deep.

Gustav 11.21.2005 04:56 PM

Nbcazn, normally people just cut back the heat shrink a bit to get to the jumper, then it pulls out very easily with your fingers.
