Well done, that is one clean installation. Have you taken it for a test drive yet?

No I just got the control from mike last week and we have a foot of snow on the ground so It will be next spring for the first run...I was gonna go with the 2d for more power but mike says the 2.5d will be funner and more controllable.

Very nice job. That would kill me to have a nice new toy like that and not be able to drive it untill spring. That sems like a million years from now...

BTW: I think you made a great choice on the motor. I really think that the 1515/2.5d on 5s is the ideal setup for a truggy. Awesome balance of power and runtime and the setup is very robust and should take a pretty wide range of gearing without overheating. I run the same thing in my truggy and love it.

Has anyone run this type of a setup with motor brakes, and had a chance to compare it vs the Tekno v3 with the elektri-clutch and mechanical brakes? I would love to see a write up on the two and the differences on the race track.. or even hear some opinions. The losi 8ight chassis w/ the losi electric kit would really give you the lightest setup, so I'm wondering if the added weight w/ the tekno v3 kit is worth it to have the clutch and mechanical brakes.. less heat and wear on the motor.. but at a weight cost.

Very nice clean set up...too bad about the weather. You may have to find an excuse to go visiting a friend in another state..and just so happen to bring your truck along..
