Is this the Chassis or the Chassis Brace that broke? Or both!?
Well, I have a Halloween party on Friday, and just HAD to get my EMaxx with some upgraded fun stuff to test and all. It's always customary for me to bring it, just so I can showboat? Well, maybe not, but my friends enjoy running them once in awhile.
Anywho, had too take it out, and started getting cocky with this speed... And hit a curb. <_< WHAT! I was doing a nice long wheelie, and when it landed, went full speed into the curb, did a nice spinout, and looked cool nevertheless. Anywho, got some pictures up, and seeing if I broke the chassis, the chassis brace, or both? Pictures: http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g6...4/IMG_2050.jpg http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g6...4/IMG_2051.jpg Direct links, so I don't get in trouble for oversized pictures. After all, they're macro sized. ;) |
Looks like you just broke the front bulkheads.
|
No kidding!?
Oh em gee! Hmmm, now if only tower could get me a shipment before friday. I doubt it. Ugh. |
support your LHS, I'm sure they have some T/E MAXX bulkheads in stock. Common Problem, I can't remember how many I went through on my T-MAXX
|
LHS only has 3905. Or will those work as well?
Eh, after thinking about it, no need to put a rush in all my orders. Juyst gonna take my ESavvy out for the Fri thing. Thanks guys! So, the question is if the 3905 bulkheads (front) will work with the 3906 front bulkheads? |
yes they'll work, all the bulkheads are the same, 3906, 3905, T-Maxx/2.5R/3.3
|
Ah, off to the LHS I am!
|
You also need a new skid and shock shafts. The holes on the skid are broken and the shocks are bent.
|
Now, how on earth did I miss that?
Jumped up from bed (I read my email off my phone, just for a check, when I wake up) and rushed the the Maxx. And unfortunately, apparently one shock shaft is bent, like Tempted noticed. (thanks!) Is the bulkhead skid aluminum thing really a must to have it straight? I already ordered myself a whole new set of screws from rcscrewz.com. I also own RPM Wearplates, which is right behind me right now. Do they sell stock shock shafts? |
Searching for a skid plate to replace...
Will this work? http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXSP38&P=ML http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXSP40&P=M Yes, it's for the TMaxx, but I can't find the model TMaxx. I know it should fit if it's the 2.5, but what if it's the 3.3? And will this fit with my EMaxx RPM Wearplates? Also, where can I get stock shock shafts? I got some new bulkheads, plastic, front and back for 5.75 for F, and 5.75 for R...3905 model. Stock shock shafts is what I need! |
For shock shafts, will these work?
Yes, TMaxx again http://cgi.ebay.com/Traxxas-Tmaxx-Ti...3286.m20.l1116 |
it's all the same stuff for the e-maxx
|
How about the shock shafts?
|
Those are titanium shafts for BigBore shocks. If you have BigBores they will fit. I am not sure about other shocks.
|
How about these?
